1. Wesley Clinic
Since January 15, 1987 Wesley Clinic has been serving the community with out and inpatient care service, surgical care services, medical diagnostic services and outreach and health education programs. Its motto is “To Serve” and it is rendering its patient care services to all clients irrespective of their race, political belief, culture religion, sex and economic status. All staffs are working hard to give their patients comfort, assurance and relieved from their fear and desperations. The clinic has started with 6 staff in 1987 and after 20 years, it grows to 140 staff in 2007. Since 1992 and 1993 the services has been broader with Laboratory and X-ray services. And also since 1995 the clinic has possessed Ultrasound and ECG to further facilitiate its patients care. Surgical procedure has been carried out since its being but major surgical procedures have been performed since 1996 onwards. Admission of patients to the clinic is possible 24 hours a day and nurses are on duty roud the clock. Life saving emergency operations could be performed at any time. Wesley clinic is extended her branch at Letpanchaung, was opened on 15 January 2004 . Another Wesley clinic is also planned to extend at Tan Bu, 20 miles away from Tahan.
Achievement
The clinic is headed by a Medical Superintendent whose decision-making is supported by the hospital management team. Hospital management team consists of Medical superintendent, doctors, managers and matron. This team is also an advisory team to the District Wesley Clinic committee. This team meets every week. District Wesley Clinic committee has 15 members headed by District Chairman. Members are appointed by annual district synod meeting every year. This committee is reponsible for appointments, salaries, user fees, budget, promotion and demotion, polices and making amendments on it's by laws. This committee meets once a month or more frequently as needed. There is staff meeting every month. At this meeting, every staff has an opportunity to express their feeling and opinion on their work and for the betterment of patient's care. All the customers are also invited to give comments and complaints on the services they received. It may be in written or verbally.
Financial Initial investment has been contributed by the Methodist Church . Construction of inpatient wards has been completed by donation from local people and churches. Then protestant churches organization for cooperation in development (EZE) from Germany donated money for upgranding of Wesley Clinic project. World Church in Britain also donated some fund for equipment and pharmacy revolving fund. The yearly running cost has been contributed by patients through user fees since its being till today. User Fees Wesley Clinic is a non-profit oriented, Church based, human centered health institution. Therefore, user fees are settled just to meet staff salary and maintenance of building and equipments. If there be any surplus, 65% of the fund goes to further invesment for patients care. 10% goes to the Church, 20% for bonuses and 5% for staff social welfare, 10% poor fund.
Working Hours
Normal working hour is 40 hours a week. However, staff has to work extra hours when required. In such condition the clinic have to pay overtime bonus to staff.
Outreach Program & Health Education
Wesley Clinic has mobile health team. This team goes to villages and gives health education in handling of medical treatment to village people. 2. Tamu Mobile Dental Clinic: It is for Tamu Area, supervised by Dr.Sangkhama.

Community Development Workers Promotion Training was held in 5-11 March 2006 in Tahan. 20 Church Leaders were participated in this training. They are start working for Community Development in their respective District. (2) HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention
AIDS is identified among the young people 63%, 82% for women and 45% for men. There are many AIDS Orphans. As the number of HIV/AIDS patients is growing in the church communities, the church needs to raise awareness campaign on HIV/AIDS to reduce the growing number patients. There is urgent need for the church to take care of the HIV infected patients, children and orphans. To stop the spread of HIV, it is vital to have knowledge on HIV/AIDS and preventive education by arising awareness & prevention campaign and care. HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention Campaigns were held in all Districts. We have a plan to be held more Campaigns in 2007-2008. (3) Stall project is being constructed in Rezua District, Chin State .
